The device is designed to prevent high-quality recording on a dictaphone, or any other deivce with microphone, used by a negotiator. Ultrasonic cancellation is effective against high-quality broadband microphones. Acoustics perfectly complement ultrasound by suppressing band-limited microphones.

 Before starting to work with the device, it must be charged. If the LED near the charging connector is green, the device is charged. You can also view the battery level through the application on the phone.
To achieve the maximum effect of acoustic suppression, it is necessary to record the voice of the owner of the device. To do this, hold down the black button next to the microphone for a few seconds until the blue LED starts blinking. Then dictate any text within a distance of 10cm to 30cm from the microphone. The duration of the recording is from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. After finishing recording, press the black button again.
If the recording is shorter than 10 sec. then the device will return to the preset recording.
To control the device from your phone, you need to download the “CDIS_connect” application (Fig. 1) to your phone from the Play market or Apple store via “search” or by scanning QR codes (Fig. 2). Further control is done through the application, which will automatically connect with the device via Bluetooth.
Control of the device includes:
-on / off
– volume control
– blocking from third-party access (can be controlled only from the device through which access was blocked, until the device is unblocked or turned off).

The USPD2 device is positioned with its rear panel (emitters) towards an individual or the likely listening position. The device can be switched on either from the front panel or via the application on the phone. The volume is selected in advance depending on the distance of the device from an individual. The volume level should not interfere with the conversation.
